Quinn’s Legacy Run

Quinn’s Legacy Run is an annual run/walk event that raises funds to support parents after the sudden loss of an infant. In the case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), there is a termination of maternity benefits immediately following the death. These families, stricken by grief, are in need of support – both emotional and financial. This year marks the 3rd Annual Quinn’s Legacy Run or Walk event, and I am pleased to announce that Tara Molina Real Estate will be sponsoring the event.

This event that brings the City of Airdrie together! There is space for everyone with family packages, individual packages, even virtual packages if you can’t make it to Airdrie for the event. Even if you cannot participate, there are ways to lend a hand such as volunteering, or just by showing up at the Beer Gardens after the race.

Quinn’s Legacy Run is on Saturday, August 19th and the races begin at 10:00am. Read below for more information!

This year, I am pleased to be one of the sponsors for Quinn’s Legacy Run. This is a cause that is close to my heart, as well as many others that I know. I will be at the event all day with a bouncy castle for the kids, and ready to have a great time raising funds with like-minded individuals! After participating in previous years, I know that this event has a hugely positive impact on families that need support. Let’s get out there and show our support!

family Packages

This is a family friendly event! We strongly encourage families to register for the run / walk. There is a family package that consists of minimum 2 and maximum 8 members for one fee. After 2 members, each member will be charged $5 as an additional fee. There is early bird pricing, so register before July 30th at 11:59pm to receive the early bird pricing. The family run / walk is 2km long, so small children are more than welcome to participate as well! The shorter distance also makes it easy for parents to push buggies, so bring the whole gang!

Individual runners

Individual runners are welcome to join us as well! As an individual, you will receive a FREE Quinn’s Legacy Run T-Shirt. Men’s and women’s sizes are available in: XS, S, M, XL, XXL, 3XL, and 4XL. Race lengths for individual participants vary from 2km, 5km, and 10km. The early bird gets the worm! Early bird pricing is available until July 30th, 2017 at 11:59pm, register before then to get it!

Virtual Racers

Quinn’s Legacy Run offers virtual racing packages for those who want to participate, but are unable to attend the official event in Airdrie, Alberta. Virtual runners will receive a race kit package before the race which includes: a race bib and Quinn’s Legacy socks!

Volunteering

If you can’t participate in the race, Quinn’s Legacy Run is always on the lookout for volunteers. Whether you can help the day of, or help with other administrative duties, we welcome everyone! We have always had such great volunteers and look forward to connecting with more people who want to offer their support.
