Mrs. Claus’ Market is back for its 6th year! The shop is open for only one weekend, it’s the perfect opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done early and all in one location. With over 50 local vendors, crafters, artisans and other small business this market is jam packed with holiday fun for the entire family.

Kids will get the chance to meet Santa on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Festivities of interactive photo booths, family photos, and more surprises are sure to make the eyes of the whole family shine with Christmas spirit.

Admission is free and donations will be accepted in support of Airdrie and District Victims Assistance Society.

Airdrie’s Annual Santa Claus Parade

Saturday, December 2nd 5:00pm

Main Street, Airdrie, AB

An Airdrie Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the annual Santa Claus Parade! Main Street will close at 4:30pm for the 5 o’clock start time! Come to see the floats, special entertainment, and get into the Christmas spirit!

Toy Drive

November 18 – December 18

Drop off location: CPUMEDIX 402 121 Main St S Airdrie, AB

The Salvation Army is accepting is accepting donations to bring a smile to a young face this holiday season. For this toy drive, the Salvation Army requests that toys be dropped from 8am and that they’re new, unwrapped toys.

Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

Thursday, December 7th 5:30pm

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making an appearance in one of the most highly anticipated Airdrie Christmas events this year! The Holiday Train brings fun energy, good times, and great entertainment. Kids will love seeing the train up close, and the photo opportunity will keep the family memories forever.

People are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donations to Airdrie’s local food banks.

 

Airdrie’s Festival of Lights

December 1st – 31st 6pm-9pm

Nose Creek Park, Airdrie AB

Airdrie’s Annual Festival of Lights is back! For anyone who has been to see the light festival before, you need no convincing to go again. For those who haven’t seen the light festival yet, it should definitely be on the docket of your must-attend Airdrie Christmas events. This event brings out about 50,000 people each year from Airdrie and surrounding cities including Calgary.

Admission prices are by donation so anyone can come! There’s hot chocolate, and miniature train rides both for $2 each. Also, parking is free.

 

Airdrie Christmas events are always jam-packed with Christmas spirit. All of these events are kid-friendly and rally around a sense of giving and love.
